Has anyone purchased and used the NOS Inglis mags that are currently being sold? They are supposedly wartime manufacture for Inglis and made on Canadian machinery in India and marked "RA".

Generally good mags, but the are not Inglis by any stretch of the imagination. They are Indian milsurp mags...that's it. They can be tough to use at first, but the 3 or 4 I have have broken in nicely.

I thought it would be nice to have a few of the Indian mags and if yours have broken in well then they should be worth it.

My India magazines when loading were as reported somewhere between impossible and just plain difficult. Just work on them for a few weeks clean and lubricate thoroughly, fully loaded emptying and reloading when you think of it and they will finally work ok. Don’t forget to clean the lube out before actually placing the mag into every day use.
