My Stainless BR9 tested out perfectly - I'm very satisfied with it in every way. The Workmanship Fit & Finish was unexpectedly fine. As good or better than FN HPs I've inspected. I highly recommend them.

In my view, Toddsig is the go-to guy on the BR9. Also, Sistema is in with both hands.
(No dis. to BHSS, of course.)

Thanks MR C.
I think the new Tisas Hi Power clones are a good value for the money. I have three, one unfired, a SS with a C&S package and a stock epoxy BR9 with mag safety removed. Like Craig mentions above all with excellent fit and finish.
That said, potential buyers and owners do have to be aware of issues/breakage such as the failure of some of the internal small parts. There have been reports of numerous breaks and failures of internal parts such as the firing pin plate and extractor. Replacing is relatively inexpensive and not a difficult process, so not really a big concern or problem. Parts are available from multiple vendors. Many had warned interested buyers that these Turkish guns could have metal issues, many hoped that would not be the case, but the initial concerns are justified. I am lucky so far without any issues at all other than some of the epoxy chipping around the muzzle.
The bigger concern is there have been multiple reports of frame and slide metal fractures. I know of about 3 or 4. There is a warranty on the guns for one year, and Tisas and importer LKCI is sticking to the one year from purchase for replacements. So if a slide (or muzzle bushing cracks) after one year, you are out of luck.
There are many really good reports, and I enjoy the Tisas, but I wish the quality control was better.
