I just learned of the death of our Moderator Chris Stephens. He contributed much to this board and did a great deal of work in making it the pleasant place to visit it is.
Here is the information I got.
I am very sorry to report that Chris Stephens (carolinaman) was admitted to ICU last night at midnight and passed into mortality at 5:30 EST this morning. He had metastatic pancreatic cancer (a fact he did not even share with Vant) but was very private about it. His eldest son and his brother were able to come down and spend time with him, and he was in a lot of pain but had time to get right with the Lord.
May his memory be a blessing; his friendship and time among us certainly were.
I for one will miss him and remember him in my prayers.
V/r
Chuck

I am so sorry for this loss, sorry for Chris' family and sorry for the forum community. He was a good example and good examples are hard to find these days.

I am saddened to hear this news. Although I did not know him well, Chris seemed like a really nice guy, and he contributed greatly to this forum. He will be missed.

As a relatively new member I regret that I did not have the pleasure of knowing him. I do respect his contribution to this forum. Condolences to the family.
