Hello,
Some of y'all may already use these, but, the 3mm I.D. x 6mm O.D. x .5mm Thick, Red Fiber Insulating Washers that's commonly used in electronics, is also an excellent grip screw washer for the BHP - especially when using grip panels that's made from hard materials.
Anyhow, if you're having problems keeping grip screws tight, or, you just want a nice bearing surface between the head of the screw and the panel, the fiber washers work well.

I have had good success cutting washers from electrical "heat shrink" wire insulation tubing - with a scissors. length can be experimented with, but the tubing makes a great soft washer to snug up odd fits on grips - cheap to.

Bob, your recommendation for the fiber washers is excellent. The thin Challis rubber O-rings that I'd tried previously didn't work with the High Powers grip screw and grip screw recess in the grips, and the #60 hardware store rubber O-rings worked, but induced a bit too much stand-off distance allowing for some minor grip movement when installed. The red fiber insulating washers seem to be perfect, especially with G10 grips; I'm now using them on both my Mk III .40 High Power and on my Beretta 92D with Langdon LTT G10 grips. Thanks for the recommendation. I found an inexpensive lifetime supply of them at amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014XJ32C6/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Best, Jon
