Received a dedicated frame from Jim Milks (Innovative Custom Guns), was tired of switching one of my 1911's to use one of their lowers. Outstanding job as usual. A simple SS Caspian frame, EGW parts. I used a True Radius jig on the sear and took the trigger down to 2#. Have a Leupold Deltapoint Pro and mount to install at some point. This upper has shot lights out with decent/good .22 ammo; Aguilla "Super Extra", Norma USA Match both shooting <1" @ 50 yds.

Nice looking setup... I"m not familiar with the .22 upper... but sounds like it works well. Boy, I just wish that I was capable of shooting < 1in. @ 50 yards with ANY handgun!! Though I am mostly a big bore handgun shooter, I still like to drag out my .22cal handguns from time to time and give them a go. I own an older Browning Buckmark with a factory 6in. compensated barrel that is awesome @ 25 yards when I do my job right. All of my handguns shoot better than I do, but I have accepted it!!

The Nelson unit is an “upgraded” Marvel. Bob Marvel was involved with the design. The unit equals the accuracy of the old Narvel #1, but has slide lock back on empty mag and allows dry fire without roaching the FP. They come with irons, or bald rail for optics.
