I'm going to be working security for a High School basketball game this evening. I haven't done this in years, but it seems that all the younger officers have better things to do on a Saturday night, so I thought "What the hell?" Since this is a security gig, and a fairly casual one at that, I don't feel compelled to carry my M&P9 with 50 odd rounds of ammunition on my person. So, I'm trying to decide which pistol to tote. Here's where you guys get to help. The choices are:
1. M&P Shield - Practical, but a little boring
2. Hi Power Mark III - Sexy, if a bit subdued.
3. 4" SW1911 with faux ivory grips - This one always makes me feel a little like Patton.
5. CZ75 Omega - Chiek European classic
6. 2 1/2" S&W Model 19 - Always a head turner especially since most people don't even remember cops carrying wheel guns.
7. M&P 45 2.0 - 10 rounds of brute force.
OK guys, Which one?

Some great choices. The way that M&P 45 shoots for you, I’d be hard pressed not to take that.
Stay safe and I hope you don’t need it tonight!

Depends on what you want to accomplish... The S&W Mod 19 is beyond cool... and the kiddies won't even know what it is... High Power... also kewl... totally reliable always a great choice... 1911... another case of class... some of the kids may even know what it is... M&P... practical and extra ammo... good if you expect trouble... My choices in order... V/r CHuck
