That really isn't bad shooting at all Vant... even the less good shots would prove a major distraction for an E.D. and probably would make him remember he had a little old grandmother who needs attacking somewhere else... I'd give her a well done for that one. FWIW Chuck This is a pic of my wife's target after qualifying for her CCP. She was using one of her favorites... a RIA 1911Commander .45acp. Everyone else on the line at the time were using either .380 or .22lr. The instructor turned to my wife and stated "Finally someone with a real gun". I think she started slapping the trigger a bit at first as she was rushing some of her shots but calmed down and started hitting more center mass . She loves shooting 1911's. -Vant
Thanks Chuck! Wouldn't want to get hit by a .45 ACP with any of those shots. -Vant

Just returned from the range. I had a 9mm 1911 "range gun" built by Jim Milks (Innovative Custom Guns)- Jim used to ron the EGW Custom Shop for George when it was in existence. He is a consummate craftsman. The pistol is a 70 series Colt that has had extensive work; read that- the frame and slide were used in the build. All else was spec'd by me; Kart barre, weld up frame/lap slide to frame, BoMar/FO sights, etc. I shot a 5 rd. group (benched) at 50 yds. with my favored rabge load of; Precision Delta 124 gr.JHP, CCI SPP, 4 gr. Titegroup and Win. brass. The load averages 1120 fps, which is light- but it's a range gun/load. It's soft shooting and is a dandy "Steel Challenge" load. The group was shot aiming COM (center of mass) between the blue tape on the four corners. I was pretty tickled with the results.

I wasn't sure my old 1918 production MK VI Webley revolver would even keep them all on the paper at 15 yards. Turns out the old Webley will do better than that.

Hello, Another "eaten up" target with the previously owned CZ-75B taken some years ago.... Oh yeah, that pistol could shoot after I picked it up as "Gun Bench Orphan" from the local shooting range and fixed it up! Best, Chris
