Hey folks, not sure where to put this, but this spot seemed the best to start. Looking from input from you folks that shoot action pistol, Steel challenge etc. some of you may have run into the same issues and might have some helpful inputs. I'm having fun and consistently improving.
Example scenario: typical NRA shooting targets, or steel plates at various distances with a time limit, 4,5,6 seconds etc. X,A,B,C zones.
1st challenge, time management, feeling the time pressure I'll rush it and leave time on the clock OR leave points on the table by running out of time.
2nd challenge, trigger mgmt under time pressure. As I'm nearing the end of a shooting string (6 rounds, 3 target, 2 each) and worried about the clock I'll get too heavy on the trigger pulling down the muzzle and missing the plate low or hitting the NRA for low or no points.
I practice regularly but if anyone has their favorite drills or other suggestions would love to hear them.
Cheers all Thom
