I have a lightweight Inglis. I have had it for some years now. It is in Clive's book. Clive once told me that there were very few "official" test pieces. 2 to the US. 2 to England. 2 stayed in Canada. But there were a number of parts left over which were used to assemble pistols. I am glad to see the sale price & wonder what mine would bring. This is one of the two that remained in Canada. Clive said that the other Canada one is in a private collection in Canada. One of the US ones was sold at auction some years ago. The two English ones are still in the possession of the British government. (Never have shot it.) Attachments:

cpwlew, thanks for posting images of your experimental Inglis lightweight. Great piece of Inglis/High Power history. If you are looking for a current value you might reach out to the specialists at Morphy Auction or Rock Island Auction. They should be able to estimate what it might sell for at auction.

I have no intention of selling it the Inglis lightweight which was used in the Canadian test trials. Besides I would not trust any opinion from either of the two, especially RIA.
