A VERY special favorite BHP...story withheld for now , a '77 C&S...and me , custom. It's well used but semi-retired, and it's on it's 3rd. finish ...original blue +2 matte refinishes. It had been physically damaged and the finish was "compromised" in an incident , so I repaired the damage before throating/polishing it, beveling the magwell and adding the then new MkII thumb safety...then sent it off to C&S for their hammer, sear, trigger...a duty trigger job, Novak sights and a matte blue refinish. Then, after years of carry/use...and a lot of rounds, I re-upped the springs and had a local shop matte oxide it and added the Uncle Mike's/Spegel's, just a few years ago. It lives in the safe and only comes out occasionally for LEOSA quals .....

Hey, maybe Charlton Heston's old underground museum is for sale! A pistol that nice deserves a good place to live. JayPee

Mauser Mod 80 SA. Found this on a local gunboard and jumped at it as there are no import marks.

What a beautiful example of the Mauser, toddsig. Just beautiful. You just don't see many of these, especially in this condition.

JayPee Thanks JayPee, I had to look for a while to find one in good condition and just lucked out that it turned up on a Gunboard. The seller had another interested collector and the sale actually fell through, and I got. Next on the wish list is to find a Luger marked FEG.

A pic of my BHP family ...well, actually there are 3 Glocks in the lower left visiting the rifles that are privileged to reside with the BHPs .....
And NO, the BHPs don't mind at all...while the Glocks feel privileged ..... I hope I'm at your house having a nice quiet cup of coffee when the war begins . . . .

Submoa, an amazing collection. I had to re-focus a couple of times to make sure I was seeing correctly.

Wow Todd, that IS an exceptional Mauser M80SA ...a whole lot nicer than mine . And, the Ted Yost SRT? Phenomenal, maybe one day I'll trip the trigger for one of his pieces of Gun Art...congrats .

Wapiti Valley; you sound familiar HS...why am I not surprised?
Never could convince my Lovely Bride, she thinks a 30 minute drive to town...on the hard road that is, is too rural .....
