I remember when FM Detective slides and barrel assemblies were available from Sarco. I didn't have the money at the time.
Is there any place to get those still?
I haven't seen one in years.

There haven't been any FN Detective kits - or FNs of any flavor for that matter, commercially imported into the USA in years. Keep your eyes peeled on the auction sites and be prepared to strike if you find a kit or the whole gun. The latest version of the Detective that I'm aware of was the FM02AR, which was a Detective with factory installed SFS. This was from the FM website - click on it and it gets bigger:

De nada. Here's mine - also from SARCO. I had the FM paint stripped and redone matte blue. Upgrades include SFS, a Garthwaite trigger and Trijicon BRO2 night sights. The thing about the Detective, is that because of the 1911 style slide, it weights exactly the same as my full sized 69C. Personally, I prefer the size and balance of the full sized HP better, but they're still cool. Attachments:

That is a nice pistol and watch combination there Mr. Burgs! Do you use it much? It looks new.
