Though Steven Camp has been dead for some years now, his wife has kept his site in operation... though obviously it has not had new content since Steven's untimely death. You can still buy Steven's books from his wife through his site. His books are excellent... I have them all and I am delighted with them... and have learned a lot from his writing. His High Power and 1911 Books are 'must have's' in my estimation... His fiction is entertaining and technically accurate. His High Power take down reference is something I still use a lot and would not dig into a HP without it. The URL is: hipowersandhandguns.com/Products5.html FWIW Chuck

Hello Chuck,
I've only ordered one book from the website when Mr. Camp was still with us. It was his only fictional piece "Paid in Full" that he autographed and sent to me. It is a great book and I kept him encouraging him to write more like it. He said that he never really made any money from the book, but I can tell you that it is a great read!
Best,
Chris

I agree 100% with Chuck on Steve's assembly/disassembly laminated guide. I have owned mine for a number of years now, and it has saved my butt more times than I can count. If you don't have it.....get it!!! You won't regret it, I promise.

+1000...
Stephen Camp could...and did, speak with the confident but gentlemanly authority of a highly experienced end-user of the BHP. His blog, forum posts, books and guides are all truly excellent sources for BHP information. Though I have a small fortune in all the BHP...and BHP related, reference books, everywhere I travel a well worn copy of Steve's Revised Edition "The Shooter's Guide to the Browning Hi Power resides in my ruck. A brand new copy...as well as his earlier books/guides, remains home in the "library”. Fortunately, Sandy is still making this essential book available, one should reside in every BHP owners “library”, big or small.
With that said, allow me to offer…as Steve would, he was not a "collector"...in the truest sense of the word, when it came to some of the minutia surrounding the BHP. Sooooo...especially considering the known production vagaries at FN, think "circa" when quoting dates.

I just received an e-mail from Sandy saying she is shipping my copy of Steve's Assembly/Disassembly guide. Looking forward to receiving it. I wouldn't have had to ask so many questions when I took my HP apart the first time if I'd had the guide in hand. My mistake!!!!!

I didn't know him well at all... but he was a man of integrity as well as great knowledge...
Our sport is worse for his passing... I think I can safely say we all miss him.

Hi Power Disassembly Guide
Are they still selling the guide book with how to pictures ?
I ordered one six weeks ago just before I did a month and half in recovery from an organ transplant and it still has not shown up.

I'd follow up with Mrs. Camp. She has always shipped very quickly. Something must have gone astray at one end or another. FWIW Chuck Hi Power Disassembly Guide
