I hope everyone has a happy 2023 holiday and a positive, peaceful 2024 New Year. I really enjoy this site, and our members, and I'm glad we're all still here. This is a great sentiment about our site from Mister Coffee. Our HPC forum has shown nice growth over the past year, we now have close to 900 members, and just a few weeks ago on Dec 2 we reached a new peak with the most users online at the same time at 123. We have some of the best archived information on Hi Powers and clones, from terms to reference materials to past member posts. Our FEG sub-forum is absolutely the best and has the most in-depth and documented content available. Just this past week we have seen some excellent discussions and member participation in a host of topics, from Holiday well wishes, to L9A1 HPs to high serial number Pre T series (or contemporaneous pre T/T series) Hi Powers. All friendly, no trolling or snide comments, with great information posted and shared, and a learning experience for most. I believe our site has become the internet destination for serious FN/BAC HP and clone collectors. Many other HP forums have almost no traffic, some even as low a couple of posts every few months. Others, in my opinion have lost their focus and have migrated to a Springfield SA-35/Girsan destination. Nothing wrong with that if that is where the membership wants the forum content to go. That forum has changed, with most vintage HP enthusiasts leaving, now only lurking, or with only minimal participation. Over the years it has pretty much lost most of its HP expertise. While clone talk is fine, on some sites it has recently overshadowed/overpowered discussion of the FN Hi/High Power. Facebook has a few HP groups, usually with short comments/post lacking depth, some snide trolling posts, many out of context posts, and a lot of incorrect posts with misinformation. On the positive side, some good images. That leaves High Power Collectors as the primary internet source and destination for credible HP discussions. Over the next year, I would like to see our membership participation increase. With nearly 900 members and the lack of other serious venues there should be no shortage of posts and discussions on HPC. I encourage all members to get involved, ask questions, answer questions, post images, and share your passion and knowledge with the rest of our group. For example, if you had work on your HP, please post, good range trip, please post, jams/FTF etc, please post, new HP, please post. We have a very strong foundational base with expertise ranging from technical knowledge to historical profiecency, and most importantly, a truly open, welcoming and friendly membership that wants to assist and learn from others. Lets continue to make HPC the best HP forum, with continued member growth and participation. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Todd

Thanks... That hits the nail on the head and sums up our goals and where we are going.
My thanks to all who participate and those who volunteer their time to make the forum work.
