The Camp section isn't finished yet PJK and we intend to do those things. Trouble is that all the admins have been sick for a week or so now and haven't been able to finish the section. Thanks for the reminder, we'll get at it as soon as we can. Best wishes. JayPee Thank you Sir. Hope all the admins are in good health now. And please, don't get sick again. Regards....

Awesome.
I only knew him via the forums and some messages, but he definitely was professional, helpful, and well mannered in everything I’ve ever seen, including how everyone has always described him.
I don’t have his novel, but his other books are well worth buying.
Best to Mrs. Camp, and my thanks for sharing her husband with us - much appreciated.

It would certainly be preferable to this crud that is going around... It seems to linger on and on after you are nominally recovered making you tired and listless... I read on the Internet that "getting sick" was Admin. code for "sipping whisky." But I could be wrong about that.

Boy we wish it was, MC. We really wish it was. Whatever we've got is a ring-tailed buggernasty for sure. Wouldn't wish it on a dog - even a mean dog. (Oh, I have had a Toddy or two, but that doesn't count............. ) Jerry

I'm glad I came across this board, especially because of this memorial thread to Stephen A. Camp. When I first became interested in Hi Power pistols I scoured the Internet for information. I quickly came upon Mr. Camp's writings. Virtually everything I have learned about Hi Powers traces back to him. His writing was prolific and erudite, motivated by his desire to share his knowledge and love of these fine pistols with others. My only regret is I did not discover Mr. Camp before his passing. I would have loved an opportunity to converse with him. I'm grateful to his wife for keeping his blog and books available for Hi Power devotees to continue to be inspired and guided by him.

I have spent many happy hours reading Mr. Camp's articles on and about the Browning High Power. He was exactly what I've always imagined a Texas gentleman to be--honest, hardworking, decent and kind, and well-armed with a trusty sidearm. The High Power community is diminished by his passing, just as it is thrilled that he left behind such a prodigious body of work for us to enjoy. RIP, Mr. Steven Camp.

This message is long overdue.
I remember typing back and forth with Mr. Camp about a particular subject or matter. And in his cordial and kind-hearted ways, he enlightened me to the many possibilities that could be found inside and outside the box. I have and will continue to miss him. My sincerest condolences and regards to his family and loved ones.
